Two more

I am slowly getting into making cards and posting them!!! Yeah for me...so the reason for a post on a Friday, I have a wedding this weekend, one of my high school girlfriends is getting married. So I will be in Lincoln partying with all my old high school friends. It should be a blast!! That is the introduction to my first card, I went with her wedding colors, I think the pink maybe a little brighter than she is using, but I liked it. I thought this was a fitting stamp for a wedding so I went with it. Hope they like it.

Next I am a very bad bride. My husband and I will be married for a year on August 5th and we have not sent out thank yous yet. Bad bride, Bad, Bad!!! I guess we just never got around to them, I really don't have an excuse other than being lazy. My husband said we should just tell everyone we wanted to make sure we would make it to year and I said we should just tell people we wanted to make sure the gifts really worked!! Either way the thank yous are made and should be going out here shortly I hope.

Happy Father's Day!!

So I know it has been a week since I last posted and I really don't have an excuse, but here I am posting now. I finally finished my husband's birthday card, my FIL's father's day card, I also made a card from the stamp set I won from Stamping with {Serendipity}.
We have a friend who shares a birthday with my FIL so I made him a card. He lives in Florida, but is an Auburn fan, so being the ornery people my husband and I are I decided to make him a Husker card!!! GO BIG RED!!! On the inside it says, Herbie Husker says "Happy Birthday!" Hope he likes it!!!
I also have an uncle in the army, he is currently in Afghanistan, I made this card to let him know how much I miss him and how thankful I am that I have the freedom to make cards and share them with you all. Hope he likes it!!!

Good Sunday

Okay, so I had a very creative Sunday afternoon. Well I guess I can't say I did all of these today, two of them I did last Thursday. I have a lot of things coming up in the next week. First my aunt and my husbands uncle share the same birthday which is June 15th. These are the cards I came up with for them.

Next is Father's Day, which now I have two to make. I haven't gotten my FIL done yet, but I need to find some pattern paper that I think looks like him. My dad however was pretty easy to make a card for. He is a firefighter and a pyrotech, who does our local show and has for nearly 15 years. So his card I decided to make it look like fireworks, now if it does or not you tell me!!

On Sunday the 17th not only is it father's day but also my parents 29th wedding anniversary. So my friend Jami has this stamp set that say "I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow." Which is a line from my parents "song." So how appropriate is that for their anniversary card?!?

Finally my husband and my FIL have birthdays on the 19th and 20th of June so I have been working on their cards too. My FIL is a big fisher and hunter so I thought I would play up his hobby and this is what I came up with. I am struggling creatively to come up with something for my husband though. I hope something will come to me in the next few days. Wish me luck and send any ideas you may have my way!! Thanks for look and giving me your input it means a lot!!!

The weekend

Okay so I was a little bit crafty this weekend, depending on how you look at it I guess. My friend Jami and I started a FUN project for her husband and mine to complete. We demolished her bathroom. To see our handy work check out her blog, she is linked on mine, crazydaisy creations. We kicked butt!!!

I did also make a card for my nieces baptism with the "blog candy" that I won from Stamping with {serendipity}. Sorry Pam I was pressed for time and didn't get a picture, but I will get one on Saturday when I babysit.

This weekend was so much fun and also relaxing. My grandmother "GG" and my Uncle Debbie, she is really a girl we just call her Uncle, were here for the baptism. It was really good to see them both. I am a bad Auntie and didn't get any pictures b/c I forgot my camera. Papa took a bunch so I will get some on here real soon. Enjoy your first full week in June and be looking for new pictures and post later this week!!!
